The Service is operated by Bernard Huang ("tabiji," "we," "us," "our") from Austin, Travis County, Texas, United States. You can reach us at [email protected].
tabiji.ai publishes editorial content about travel safety, destinations, restaurants, comparisons, and itineraries. Some pages are produced with assistance from large-language-model (LLM) tools and reviewed editorially before publication. Where individual pages are AI-assisted or AI-generated, we aim to label them as such.
2. What You Can Use
The Service includes:
Free editorial content. Country guides, scam pages, popular-picks lists, head-to-head comparisons, and travel-health pages. Free to read and link to from anywhere.
Free AI-assisted Trip Planner. A custom itinerary generated based on the destination and preferences you submit, delivered to the email address you provide. Currently provided at no charge.
Free public data API. Documented at /api/ and /llms.txt. No authentication required. Free for non-commercial use, with attribution appreciated. We may rate-limit, change, or retire endpoints; see the API documentation for current behavior. Bulk scraping at a rate that materially impacts site availability for other users is not permitted.
Books. Our paperback and Kindle travel-safety books are sold by Amazon through Kindle Direct Publishing. Your purchase is governed by Amazon's terms and refund policies, not by these Terms. We have no ability to issue refunds for Amazon purchases — please contact Amazon customer service for any order, delivery, or refund issue.
3. Travel Information Disclaimer
We do our best to keep destination, scam, and health information current, but we make no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular trip. Conditions in the field change between publication and your arrival. A restaurant may close, a trail may be restricted, a border may close, a festival may be cancelled, a scam pattern may evolve.
You are solely responsible for your travel decisions. We strongly recommend purchasing appropriate travel insurance and consulting your country's official travel advisory before any international trip.
4. Health Information Disclaimer
Our travel-health pages summarize publicly available information from sources including the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. State Department, and destination-country health ministries. This information is not medical advice. It is a starting point for conversation with a licensed travel-medicine clinician.
Vaccine recommendations, medication-import rules, and disease-risk assessments change. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider — ideally a travel-medicine specialist — before relying on anything you read here. In a medical emergency, call your local emergency number; do not consult this site.
5. Financial Information Disclaimer
Where our content discusses prices, currency, exchange rates, ATM fees, tipping norms, scam losses, or comparable financial topics, it is for general informational purposes only and is not financial, tax, or legal advice. 6. Affiliate Disclosures

Amazon Associates / Kindle Direct Publishing royalties — our paperback and Kindle books are sold through Amazon. We earn a per-copy royalty on book sales through KDP.
We do not currently participate in affiliate programs with any tour or activity operator, hotel-booking aggregator, travel-insurance carrier, US health insurance carrier, or credit-card issuer. Our editorial rankings reflect our own judgment and are not influenced by sponsorship. If our affiliate or sponsorship relationships change, we'll update this section.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
(a) use the Service in any way that violates applicable law, including export controls, sanctions, or local laws of the destination you're researching;
(b) submit false, misleading, or harmful information through the Trip Planner or any other form;
(c) attempt to interfere with the operation of the Service, including denial-of-service attacks, scraping at a rate that materially degrades performance for other users, or circumventing any rate limit, technical control, or access restriction;
(d) reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or proprietary models powering the Service, except to the extent expressly permitted by law;
(e) use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any person or business named in our content;
(f) impersonate tabiji.ai, our authors, or our editorial team in any communication.
We may suspend or restrict access for any user we reasonably believe is violating these Terms or applicable law.
8. Intellectual Property
Our content. The Service's editorial content, the tabiji.ai name and logo, the layout, the code, and the data compilations are owned by tabiji.ai (Bernard Huang) and protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
Your license to use it. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back to the source page. You may not republish, redistribute, or create derivative works from substantial portions of our content without our prior written permission.
Trip Planner output. Itineraries we generate for you are licensed to you for personal use, including sharing with your travel companions. Commercial republication or resale requires our written permission.
API output. Data returned from the public API may be used freely for non-commercial purposes with attribution. For commercial use, please contact us.
Third-party content. The Service references, quotes, and links to third-party material (venue names, addresses, press citations, traveler discussions). All such material remains the property of its respective rightsholders. We claim no ownership of third-party content and rely on fair-use, factual-information, and editorial-comment principles.
9. Copyright Complaints (DMCA)
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to [email protected] with subject line "DMCA Notice" containing: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (3) the URL of the allegedly infringing material; (4) your contact information; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rightsholder or authorized to act on the rightsholder's behalf. We will respond to valid notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

11. Disclaimers (AS-IS)
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free; that defects will be corrected; that the Service or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components; or that the content is accurate, complete, current, or reliable. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will tabiji.ai (Bernard Huang), our editorial collaborators, or any of our service providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us directly in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). For free Services (which is the entirety of the Service today other than Amazon-fulfilled book purchases), this cap will typically be US$100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

You agree that any lawsuit arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be filed exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Either party may bring an action for an amount within the jurisdictional limits of small-claims court in their county of residence.
You agree to first contact us at [email protected] and attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days before filing suit.

We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, including for violation of these Terms. No agency. Nothing in these Terms creates an agency, partnership, joint-venture, or employment relationship between you and tabiji.ai.
